There Are No Plans To Annex The Area of Arden Arcade By The City of Sacramento
The City of Sacramento has emphatically stated that they have no plans to annex the Area of Arden Arcade. The notion of Annexation has been pushed heavily by those backing cityhood to create fear among voters that if they did not choose cityhood, that our area would be quickly absorbed by the City of Sacramento. There City of Sacramento's firm and hard fast remarks on their website clarifies once and for all there is no emanate threat nor future threat of annexation.
We have learned over the years that the cityhood backers have been using annexation as a scare tactic to convince supporters to join there cause. If the City of Sacramento were truly interested in annexation of our area, it would have been done a long time ago.
